How many sales jobs do you know of that operate during BUSINESS HOURS? That’s right, the ProSource Wholesale model has our showrooms operating under business hours. So take off at 5:00 and go home to your family, and don’t even think about coming in on Sunday! We do offer our Trade Professionals the convenience of 9 am – 12  pm on Saturdays. 

This locally owned thriving Columbus business is looking for a highly organized and energetic, fun person to join the team as an Account Manager.  We are looking for a career minded fast learner, who thinks it’s fun to work in a friendly, fast-paced small business and takes pride in their work.   We need someone that is not afraid to handle multiple tasks and interact directly with customers.  We need a proactive, positive problem-solver to make our team even better and more productive.  

This is an entry-level sales position that pays an hourly wage plus commissions and is overtime eligible with a first-year guaranteed minimum and plenty of room for growth. Your actual income depends on your drive, ambition, and ability to sell. Don’t know anything about building materials/home improvement sales (flooring, cabinets, etc.)? Don’t worry! At ProSource, we offer a comprehensive training program to help you learn the industry.

As an Account Manager, you will maintain star-quality relationships with your trade professional members, so you will need to possess excellent customer relationship management (CRM) skills. You will learn and maintain a level of professional knowledge about flooring products in order to be able to educate and service Members and Clients. You will also possess the ability to inspire the trust of others with respect, morals and accepting responsibility for your own actions.

Job Requirements

By the end of your first year:

  • Upholding the values and principles and goals of ProSource of Columbus, you will have built and maintained a positive relationship with 125 – 150 Trade Pro Members and their Clients with the goal of making ProSource their primary source for flooring and cabinets.
  • Through leads provided to you by ProSource, leads you have found locally, and web leads, you will have Prospected and brought many new Members into the ProSource family. This will require cold calling
  • You will have gained a vast knowledge of flooring, cabinet, and countertop knowledge by attending training, vendor events, and researching existing and new products in order to meet the needs of Members and their Clients with ProSource solutions.
  • You will have built a strong, supportive partnership with an energetic group of team players who have LOT of fun at work, and you will look forward to working with us for years to come.
