Our business is growing! We need a true Multi-tasker for this position. This locally owned thriving Vero Beach business is looking for a highly organized and energetic person to join the team.  The chosen candidate will need to be able to wear many hats and be available during regular business hours and two Saturdays per month for three hours.

We are looking for a career minded fast learner, who thinks it’s fun to work in a friendly, fast-paced small business and takes pride in their work.   We need someone that is not afraid to handle multiple tasks and interact directly with customers.  We need a proactive, positive problem-solver to make our team even better and more productive.  This position has the potential for advancement into Account Management earning commissions.

As a Sales Assistant, you are responsible for greeting Members and their Clients and assisting them on the sales floor while the assigned Account Manager is assisting other Members. You will maintain a level of professional knowledge about flooring products in order to be able to educate and service Members and Clients. You will also possess the ability to inspire the trust of others with respect, morals and accepting responsibility for your own actions.

Showroom duties include:

  • Answer and screen telephone calls.
  • Greet Members and Clients when they arrive at the Showroom.
  • Update and maintain the showroom’s pricing and tagging system.
  • Order and maintain supplies for Showroom and Warehouse.
  • Maintaining Showroom cleanliness, maintaining displays and sample placement.
  • Work with Warehouse when samples arrive and get them out on the floor in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

By the end of year one:

  • Upholding the values and principles of ProSource of Vero Beach, you will have built rapport with our vendors through communication regarding the orders that you place with them on behalf of the Account Managers.
  • You will have developed a working knowledge of flooring products through maintaining the showroom’s sample system, updating pricing, and communication with vendors and Account Managers, and training.
  • Through training and ongoing use, you will have mastered our software systems for sales entry, bookkeeping, and customer relationship management.
  • Using your top-notch communication and organizational skills, you will have also developed relationships with our Members.
  • You will have built a strong, supportive partnership with an energetic group of team players who have a LOT of fun at work, and you will look forward to working with us for years to come.
